Evening all, i'm selling my disco that had wheel spacers on it when i bought it, but planning on sticking them on my 90. It's currently got 33. 12.5 r 15 khumos on 10x15 modulars.
I am well aware of spacers fusterclucking wheel bearings etc but my wheels rub on my radius arms, if i adjust the lock stops then i have bugger all turning circle and new wheels will cost me £150 so it makes sense to fit them if they are free.
The main thing i'm concerned about is hearing a lot of stories of spacered wheels apparently coming off whilst driving. Is this simply because the spacers havn't been torqued properly? I remember somebody telling my to loctite the threads on or something? Also is there any problem with having alloy spacers and steel wheels e.g. corroding together?
Any advice welcome, Cheers, harry
