Was just wondering if anyone could help. Under the plastic cover on top of the 300tdi engine in my disco there is a plug. Its between the inlet manifold and the rocker cover and is a twin pin plug. It looks like it screws in to the top of the block above the exhaust manifold. The wires are not connected at the moment. Just wondered if anyone knew what it is and if it is a problem that it is disconnected. Cheers.

I think its a coolant temp sensor used on models with EDC
