Most likely a rookie question, bear with me. Been overhauling the old girl and wanted to know if there is a desired breed of grease for uj's, props and bearings? I know they're all much of a muchness, just curious as to whether there is a top notch grease to use.

Ta much

Here's a few snaps... work in progress.
Still need to fit the VGT turbo from allisport and the upreated heater matrix, though by the time that's done it will be mid summer!
Fit the rear NAS style step and re position parking camera and sensors from advanced in car
was thinking if fitting a black coated steering guard, but not really worth it due to lack of offroading
finish dash console off, running a stainless plate through the cutter to hide nasties and give a flush finish
dabbling whether to keep blue sea oled or keep factory
add another battery for electricals, though optima red top is pretty durable and no winching or rarely towing, so output should be sufficient
add side steps, bearmach style, short ass
might swap tdci puma steering wheel for 14" sports style, nicer look
original wheels, will shotblast and recoat or buy new wolf genuine wheels in white
most important last! slight leak on the gearbox, been metal putty filled at some point, not nearly as bad as it sounds, a couple of drips a week, gone on this long, so might as well leave for now, though looking at replacing LT77 with an R380 short bellhousing from ashcroft, fecking expensive!
other than that, she's running fine, just me being pedantic, replaced majority of bolts on the chassis with A4 marine grade stainless, boredom set in.
260,000 miles on the clock but an engine rebuild and replacement belts and most oem parts helps, hellish mileage tbh, but should have another 100k in her touch wood!

enough from me !

Molybdenum disulphide grease is what they put in the 'packs for life' nonsense so it lasts. I usually shave the two sides of my g.gun connector with a grinder to fit easier.

It's had a bit of work done to her, nice. I had a G-reg with no steering guard, took 15 yrs of abuse before making a scratch on the steering gubbings, they will be fine

Welcome aboard :)

Thanks for the info, much appreciate. Managed to source some 1/4" connectors from my Landy guy, so should do the trick.
