Hi guys the range will be up for sale soon,I was wondering realistically what I can expect to get for it?
P38 hse 4ltr LPG conversion icom tank with later leonardo reprogramable running gear,93k miles with full history,12 months mot, full unmarked cream leather, had full engine rebuild less than 20k miles ago with hardened internals, new heads, etc to cope with running on gas.
Drives fantastic, super smooth gear change, full eas all working as it should.
Be honest guys please.

To be honest if you look at the ones selling on Fleabay youll do well with 2500.... sorry mate sounds a well loved one tho..

Best thing to do would be put it up for 3000 then have the open to offers option, ive sold loads of stuff for more than i thought it was worth using this method.

I think these are one of the most difficult cars to sell. When buying mine recently I could be very picky but I paid fair money (high 2s) in the end for one that was quite original looking but that had been meticulously looked after. You obviously care for yours but it is quite dazzling;not everyone likes this so your market is someone who is looking for that type of car. I would recommend putting a detailed description so people can see it isn't a risky purchase and maybe getting to a car show or two so people can see it with a for sale sign in it. They are very easy cars to fall for. They become must have once you have been in it. People are scared of buying them sadly - if they had the reliability of an LS400 they would be 7-10k I am sure.

Land Rover Range Rover 2.5 DSE 5d 134 BHP ideal family car

Judging on this guys opinion there worth alot... i may sell mine for £7,500 with full LR SH and less miles

Think hes on something!

I think he's put an extra digit in the price!

Pricing always very difficult, it depends what you are looking for. I wouldn't entertain a gas converted car or a 4.0... but that's just me. There is no point looking at the most expensive car out there you need to look at the cheapest one and try and do better than that.

there is actually a 4.0 with 93k on the clock for £3k at a dealer its a 2000 model so facelift etc you've got a bit of come back if it dies in the first few days etc but as a private seller you cant offer that really. Best thing to do is watch a few on ebay and see what they go for.

The other thing to remember is that there are loads out there so you need to really look hard at it and focus on its best points to get it to stand out. Have it valeted etc
