Hi,

can anyone shed light on what the small black circular clip
on the side of the passenger footwell (just forward of the door opening)
is supposed to be for............it's about 1 1/2 to 2 " in diameter,

Is it a Japanese reimport?
If it is,Japanese vehicles have to be fitted with an emergency distress
flare which is usually about 1 to 1.25 inches in diameter.This could be the
black plastic clip that used to hold one.

Hi Peter,

yes it's a Disco "County" Jap import so that would explain the empty
clip at the passenger footwell.One mystery solved!!
