Hello everyone, i need a little help here as i have been away from land rovers for a short while and now i'm stuck as to what to buy, i had a great condition 300tdi disco for three years but sold it in may of this year for something more sporty thinking this is what i wanted however i miss my land rover and as good as the little renaulsport clio is it's just not a land rover......i'll hand back the 6 second 0-60 time for a landy in a heartbeat, the problem is i have got it into my head that i want a defender this time and i'm wondering if this is a smart move to make?......or should i stick with the disco but maybe upgrade from the 300tdi to a td5 this time, any advice on the ownership of defenders as opposed to dicscovery's would be welcome, cheers guys.

if it's a daily driver on the motorway
buy disco
If you are insane, use it locally, it's a toy or just A roads a Defender

Since when does your post count make a difference, you're on a LAND ROVER FORUM. There's something about the name of it that gives it away, can't quite put my finger on it...

Folloow your heart, personally i wouldn't have nowt else but a defender but i'm young dumb and full of c**. If you wanna be sensible get a disco you'll get loads more extras for the money. Just don't put anything too heavy in the boot ;) you might not see it again.

LIke you know u got 2 choices there's the sensible one and then there that other one. The One the makes you feel nice inside.

Who the **** are you? I think someone who has been on the site a good year longer than you has a bit of a right to stay here. Which one of us is the troll?

Yeah but this Member has had a brain transplant gone wrong and bought a Toymota. and is now slagging landies orf left right and centre.

Evidently, you. You might want to read his recent post history before jumping in like that. What reason is there to come onto a Land Rover forum and start slagging them off? Slitty owners have their own slitty forums to go on.
