Ive recently bought a 1992 Defender 90, and the springs dont look in great shape. So im going to invest in a new set, and raise up the height of it a bit, so it could cope with the odd bit of off-roading. I dont know much about, whats on the market at the moment. Could anyone suggest anything?

So. A 90 needs suspension modifications in order to cope with a bit of offroading. Blimey.

Buster's right Standard but not ****part.
Dunno why folks think the extra lift'll make em the worlds best orft roader yer still gonna get stuck if the ruts are too deep yeah you can then fit bigger tyres. If u really must have a lift that'll make a real difference you wanna go for portal axles.
Then after all that, you've altered yer centre of gravity so its even more top heavy..........

But hey no matter what anyone says do it your own way n enjoy :D
