I’m a new member here. My name’s Mario and I’m writing from Brazil. Just bought a Freelander 2 2013 Si4 HSE. Very happy with the car so far. Car’s out for detailing, when it comes back next week I’ll post some photos.
I would like to know how I can identify what kind of Meridian sound my Freela is equipped with. I am aware there were two sound system available, the top being a 825-watts 17 speakers. I searched all users manual that came with it but there’s no mention to what sound system it has.
How can I check if I have the 300 or the 800 watts sound? It has those surround speakers near the trunk door, not sure if this helps.

If it sounds ok I would leave it alone, doesn't really matter what the spec is

It is just a matter of curiosity.

Turn the volume right up. If your ears start bleeding you have the 825W system.

I believe that if you have the speakers in the E Post then you have the premium 825W system

Easy way to tell is what settings you have under “audio”
