Hi can someone tell me what kind of mpg you are getting on LPG converted Range Rovers? I am considering it, however, have been told that I may use as much as 20% more on LPG than petrol so if someone out there has an LPG converted 3.5 let me know plz

Mines not a 3.5 but I get slightly better MPG on gas than petrol. When it is less than half the price, it makes sense. Annoyances of the system though are that it can be very slow to fill up at some stations and I have only a 95l tank which gives about 200 miles between visits.

Car runs beautifully on it and wouldn't consider anything else.

I think I read somewhere that the calorific value of LPG was 20% lower than petrol. My 3.9 se (now sold for a 2.5DT) used to do about 12 mpg. I would expect 15 mpg from petrol so the difference is 20%. But at 39p/litre this is definitely cheaper and well worth having the conversion.

HI I had a 3.9 and got 12 to 14 mpg on gas, there is a 20% difference in calarific value but still cheaper than petrol.
I have just bought a new range rover and it is fitted with Tartarini gas conversion and runs verry well despite other problems
