I'm looking good for a roof rack and I've come across one that is a generic one that is adjustable and fits many veichles.

The guy knows it will fit a early disco but isn't sure about about a defender hardtop.
Are disco 1&2's wider and lower? if so does anyone know how much?

I have roof bars for the 90, I once fitted them to my Disco, I had to widen the brackets on the rails to fit them to the Disco.
