Hi What is the difference between a Defender & Disco 300Tdi unit? I have cooked my Disco engine, but have the offer of a 300Tdi from a Defender as a core to rebuild/replace it. Any advice will be appreciated. Many thanks, Nick.

not sure, bit I do know that defender 300tdis go for a premium (prolly cause most of them are still in fenders) , so if its a good price, buy it, sell it and buy a disco 300tdi and make a profit!

temp sender and air filter bracket,the engines are identical apart from those ,

Don't they have a different water hose arrangement?
