Hi all,

I've seen the Land Rover "built in solihul" badges (the cast iron ones) and on the bottom it says "No" and then on this example it is blank.

I assume this number is the number Defender it is off the production line? Does anyone have this with a number and if so how do I find out the number of my Defender?

Cast alloy, not iron!!!

I believe they started with the limited edition anniversary models (certainly the 50th and possibly the 40th) and it was the number of the run (i.e. 192 of 500) but they are now available from aftermarket suppliers and many people just put the reg on.
