hello
I know I am new here and haven't spend a lot of time on the forum but I have come across the word
"tratterer" on a few posts?

What is a "tratterer"?

Is it contagious ?

Are they expensive?

Should I be worried if I am not one?
cheers
Mark

If you buy one you'll need at least 5 bulk heads and 10 chassis, as they rust faster than a Lancia Delta.
And you'll have the urge to stick a 6" lift on it, big tyres and a snorkel. Then insist it's more comfy to drive than a top of the range, Range Rover.
And finally it's in the contract if you own a tratter, you have to come into the Freelander forum and sling abuse. :)

That should give you a hint.;)

Oi oi oi, we are only 'Defending' ourselves from Lord Hippo who slings enough abuse in the other direction:D

You should have bought yer pig before all of that, every one knows a decent sized pig alters your ride height

Mate, made I larf that did. I still reckon there should be a best post competition. I'm looking to reduce the ridiculous height of mi 'Fender, I was gonna change the strongs but it looks like as you say as good size pig may negate the spannering.

If you have HD springs, get 2! ;)

A tratterer is the person who pulls your gaylander off a mildly damp field when it's part time four wheel drive fails. ;)
Never driven a Freelander on a mildly damp field then.
The tratter is more likely to get stuck on a field than a Freelander;)
