so what modifications would everyone want to do to there series :) and what have they already done :) random question i know haha but i seem to only ever see series with next to nothing on them appart from a snorkel :S

Less than never finishing it?:D

I should have just dropped a 2 1/2 petrol in it  it'll be sorted for the yorkshire laning trip though ;) me rad panel should be done on friday so I can fit everything

rollcage can wait though, cba making one up same for the bumper

I want to just do some fettling...replace vacuum hoses between servo and tank, fit fire extinguisher. Remove an annoying bolt in dash centre piece which rattles like mad.
I'm not prepared to do any of this in anything less than a calm warm sunny day....just because! I hate working on the Landy in windy or damp conditions.

I need to fit all the new brake bits and the injectors when they come back from reconning. Then i might finally get an mot!

And finish fitting the radhaz kit inside, had part of it fitted for a while and it makes a difference!

Strip bulkhead, repair bulkhead, replace chassis, replace wiring, overhaul axles, rebuild, die........

You need to come to wales then...

1-V8
2-disco axles
3-disc brakes front and rear
4-full roll cage
5-rock sliders
6-homemade winch bumper and 9500lb winch
7-twin snorkels
8-side exit exhaust
9-parabolics with +2" extended shackles
10-modified front shocks and shock mounts (+2" discovery rear shocks)
and **** loads more :D

I need to do disco front axle on mine and salisbury rear off a 110 so I get 11" drums but that can wait a while :p

1 tons have 11x3'' on the front and 11x2'' on the rear with salisbury.....why make things more complicated than they need to be?

I've not got a 1 ton near me being broken :p want to uprate the brakes as its got the V8 and R380 in it now

my 88" has 11" sls brakes on the front, i used the backplates from a salisbury and bolted them straight on, even the slaves are the same size as the originals and a doddle to bleed

also used a dual line servo assisted pedal box

only thing is the slaves aren't at 12 o'clock any more, if the tyres can keep traction i can lift the rear axle under braking, setting them up is a little fiddley but they give a really good bite and the shoes last loads longer than the old 10" ones

only thing i don't like about these brakes is wading, they seem to take longer to dry and pull worse than the 10" drums until dry
