i fink its a bit to expensive for what it is ! mind im a tight arse so i keep getting told ! no mention of any servicing cambelt change etc

There's no mention of rust and more importantly no mention of ANY welding. With the MOT running out in 3 months that instantly has alarm bells ringing in my head.

Thats what I was thinking, gonna ask him if i can actually see it today

Rust could be good for haggling the price down. It could also turn your £1500 investment into a money/labour pit.

If in doubt after viewing it, walk away.

If you are wanting a off roader then this has off road bits fitted and a winch

have you got a picture in your head of how you want your motor to be kitted out and a ruff idea in your head of how much to kit out a standard motor

Obviously you need a good look at every thing people have mentioned
Good luck :D

Had a good look round, coupe of issues, going to low ball him at £1000, its desperate for new tyres and the winch isnt connected or have any controls for it,

Gonna see if he bites

what's the boot floor, seat belt mounts, inner wings and battery trays etc like?

Surface rust, nothing serious yet, will require attention though if i was going to keep it past its 3 months of road tax, currently just going to be used for greenlaning and pay and play,

Got to look at new tyres though, .4mm left,
