the peeling of the clear lacquer layer on the roof on my 2000 W plated TD5 makes the paint work look a bit of a mess, whilst I could have it resprayed my question is would it make much difference to the resale value? I'm looking to sell it in the near future and wonder whether I'm wasting my money sorting it?

It might not affect the value all that much but a messy finish may well make it harder to sell, especially if there's a tidier one for sale at the same time

My clear coat is flaking as well and I have just watched this video, a can of clear coat costs about a fiver and a 400ml rattle can of landy paint about £16 on auction sites. I have been putting mine off but its time to get stuck in and fix it before it gets worse.
I am not selling my landy but if you are it will make it more appealing to a prospective buyer if you repair it.
