cornish rattler

Hi guys

Don't know if this could be a sticky but it would be nice to have a thread for peep's to add to as to what they have used there defender for on a specific day i.e. going to work, offroading, towing someone or something.

in my case today I did a couple of tip runs one for my son's and the other for a friend :D

Just got to work in my 200 tdi, everyday I wonder why I haven't put a better heater in brrrrrrrr, for the rest of the week it's moving the contents of my house, good old bus.

I don't own a defender but seeing your avatar reminds me that I still want to try Cornish rattler but Tesco never had any on Saturday.:(

Put the little trailer on the back of the 110 to take some rubbish to the tip and then to go and collect a 300Tdi engine in need of a rebuild. After dropping off the rubbish at the tip the axle decided to collapse so I had to somehow get the trailer on the roof rack (not an easy task on my own) and forgo the engine collection.

Later I collected about a ton of gravel and 10 concrete blocks, all put in the back with the 2nd row seats tipped up.

As usual during the week it's being filled with assorted rubbish (tiles, wood, cardboard etc) ready to go to the tip Friday

As my signature says - it's a skip on wheels!

Had a drive to paddocks today ( 90 mile round trip ) to get some bits for next weekend took my boarder collie ( jasper ) with me and stopped at a chippy I know on the way back :D

Gone to work as mine's my daily drive and then a few green lanes on the way home with the excuse I'm looking for fire wood (we've got a woodburner) he he he...

Used my 90 to winch a couple of trees out of a steep dingle. Am impressed with how much of a useful machine its turning out to be :)
