Land Rover Discovery 2.7 Td V6 S 5dr Diesel Sw in Auto trader (Under 5K):- This is to good to be true,there's one at the garage near me for 10K with another 50K on the clock. I've emailed the guy he's even offering to deliver, people just don't do that not on a private sale. Have a look tell my what you think, I'm sure it's a scam.

Ten quid for a pair of valid number plates copied from another disco he saw on autotrader so it'll check out clean when you do a check.....
 
I'm sure he's more than happy to deliver it, that way when it all goes tits up you've got no idea where to take it back to or where the bloke really lives.

i.e. In a layby on the side of some dual carriage way until the council move him on.
 
oddest thing, first time I clicked on the link, I could see it, black disco 3 reg started SM55 or similar, then the next time (just minutes later) I couldn't

Very wary of the "only contact me by email " routine
 
If I'm a bit bored I sometimes browse newly listed items on eBay

One guy was putting 15k cars on for 5k every 20 minutes, I was reporting them at 21 minutes and eBay were surprisingly quick at removing them

You'd think people would be wise enough to know nobody sells a car for 1/3 of its value but some people can't resist a bargain so they put the blinkers on
