I need to order 2 outriggers and tie braces and after the work I'm looking for something to coat the metal along with the rest of the front half of the chassis.

What rustproofing protection would you recommend for rusty and clean metal?

I've heard good things about some protection which work best with metal that isn't completely clean of rust as it encapsulates it and gives the paint something to grip too.

Open to suggestions. I'd like to order a couple litres for other jobs I have planned.

I use a rust converter then red oxide but leave a couple of days between treatments to harden fully...

@Shippers what rust converter are you using? I've got lots of phosphorus acid which seems to work great. I just wouldn't want that to react to the red oxide or zinc primer.

I'm in Portugal...it's a milky white product you paint on that starts to go green and sticky then changes to shiney black but have found if it hasnt hardend more than the time they say red oxide spray I use may react to it...most guys on youtube in UK and America use the same converter as you dont have to wash it off...I use a gel as well that includes acid to clean rust if I want to weld that surface...
