Going to be correcting some bodged electrics behind the dash on my CSW, replacing scotch connectors and so on with single strand wires and perhaps spade connectors where I want to be able to separate easily.

I plan to get a variety of wires "for stock". What is a good selection to get in, amperage-wise?

I read that one economical way to get a good quantity of appropriate colours is to buy 10 meters of trailer cable.

Don't re-bodge it, look at vehicle wiring products website and get the correct colours/current rating. It's pretty cheap anyway - and you'll end up with a much better job.

Ah I see what you're saying there. I was looking at the autosparks website earlier, but it was a bit pricey. VWP seems like a sensible option for a workhorse.

I have bought 5 metres of 7 core thinwall trailer cable in order to resolve immediate problems. £7.65 there cannot be a cheaper way to get 35 metres of cable in 7 colours.

I will solve some issues and plan to renew the loom in the future if I keep it.
