Anyone that's ever been to a pig farm will know that the smell is bloody bad. Hope who ever buys it takes a mask or has no sense of smell!!

Just up the road from a his one used to be a field full of rangie all rotting away together

Right shame, farmer would not sell anything.

There was a CSK in there!

I'm impressed with the grip it must have to drive upside down like that though. :p

So it says it was parked up 5 years ago and used to house pigs....why didn't he just sell it back then when it was in better condition? Would have got more money for it and been able to put together a shelter for his woolly pigs and still have money left over. Instead he now has a car with no seats, far more rotted than it was, filthy, smelly, and probably needs coaxing into life.

@pete: That sounds like a sad sight. :( Are they gone now?

But he's getting bids?! Mad. That motor ain't even good for scrap at that money.

Maybe someone just wants to rescue it from him. :( I think there's parts on there still worth the current bid though, some body panels that just need cleaning and painting, roof, alloys, lpg tanks, possibly the 3.5 v8.

What I'm curious about is why he decided to sell now, is he planning to give the animals the p38 in the background instead?

Also, there's a disco listed in the "people who viewed this" section with a very tall looking roof rack, very odd: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-rove...s-or-repair-/122523809331?hash=item1c86fcf633

Used to find this when I had WW2 military vehicles, you'd see a really rare truck laying in a field owned by some moron who wouldn't sell because he appeared to assume that if he hung onto it for long enough it would be worth more & more money. In the end it rotted so much that it wasn't much more than scrap so the tight, mis-informed ass.... got virtually nothing but the truck was lost to enthusiasts who would have restored it a few years earlier

I don't really know the ins and outs of farming subsidies but he was probably clawing back £100 a month for it as a lamb nursery.
Now the Euro grant computer went tits up he's gone all feral.......and selling it.

There is nothing a tight as a farmer, I did the turnips once with an old miserable barsteward and he scolded me for having the wipers on in the rain!
