I have westfalia brackets fitted to my 2004 vogue, but it doesn't have electrics fitted, they are i assume where the tow bar would be fitted if i had one. I am looking to get a tow bar fitted, but need to know if these brackets were fitted previously with a wesfalia tow bar that has been removed, would i just need to get this tow bar?

When you say ‘brackets’ are you referring to the components identified with the callouts 17K866A and 17K866B in the diagram below?

If so, those brackets are removed and thrown away when you buy & fit the towbar armature (callout 17D826 in the diagram)

i made a search with the keywords 17D826, 17K866A and 17K866B, and came across your thread.

i am the owner of a Range Rover SC 2007 model and was looking to fit a Towing Kit. I am wondering if you could direct me towards online sites that may be selling this kit along with the 19D520A unit.

go to a landrover dealers, they will provide you with the correct gear.
