Hello guys and gals, thought I'd see what all the fuss is about and join what I'm told is the best land rover forum going.

Well my name is Pete, 40 something year old with a terminal case of land rover obsession, currently have tow Discos, a 1994 V8i and a 2000 Td5.

Welcome to Landyzone :)

How come you’ve only now found us? o_O:D

I like the speckled one.
Plenty of help for Discos here
Enjoy

Why take it off?
Extra paint will help stop the rot. Get him to flick some under neath the arches next time ;)

My defender had rings on the bonnet etc from paint pots and using it as a workbench. Never lost it in a car park or mistook it for another

:D So which came first? Both runners? Or is one spares for the other?

D1 parts don't fit D2's ya silly billy :D

I have a few landys from on the road parked up back up motor, project & scrapper lol
I like the white D1 I might paint mine white

Op welcome to Lz;)

Oops . Well colour me embarrassed. Got to admit didn't have my Disco long enough to know much about it. Apart from it liked to spend more time in the workshop than on myndrive.

You learn very quickly with discos they seam to like having money spent on them :(

It didnt cost nearly as much as the L322 has liked having spent on her. The difference being the Range Rover behaved for the first 3years, the Disco was traded after spending most of the first two years in the workshop. It was just constant.

I like the speckles  the other one is just a Disco but white one got character

Agree I like the D1 looks nice & straight compared to mine, the last owner tried to fill in the groove along the panels
his body work skills are errrr fkn shocking so im changing all the panels & all il need to do is take the roof & back quarters
back to metal :D
