Right here is a strange one for you!!
99 P38 2.5D Park overnight on normal height setting and the arse end drops and takes 15 mins to rise again.
BUT park overnight on high setting and it stays up overnight.BUT as soon as i start driving arse end drops onto the bump stops again and takes 15 mins to rise again.
Have fitted 2 rear air bags and serviced the compressor.
Please help before i burn the fecking thing!!!

Some possibilities:- 1) Air leak somewhere, test all connections with soapy water mix in a spray or buy a proper can of leak tester. 2) Fault in the valve block or valve block driver. 3) If it takes 15 minutes to come up, could be that your compressor is not working well despite being serviced. 4) Front airbags leaking could acount for the slow inflation time. 5) blocked compressor air intake filter.

Whatever, if it takes 15 minutes to come up, either the compressor is not producing the pressure required, or the air is leaking out, or the valve block is not sending air to the rear bags.

Does the compressor run continuously when the back is down?

Update, I have pulled all the pipes off the valve block, all have air coming out except the red one, marked number 1 on valve block cover. so do I need to service the valve block or is there another problem??
Thanks

If its dropping at normal height setting and not at high its almost certain that its the bags are leaking not anything else. The bags wear out at the height they spend most time at. This is common enough. Its now lilkely that your compressor is almost worn out too.
