dose anyone know the reason for the weight being on the rear diff on the disco2 td5 i want to fit my diff guard and was wondering if it has to stay on aswell as the guard and what is the reason for it being on in the first place

vibration damper,removing on some can cause or allow vibration at certain speeds others makes no diference,also one behind hand brake drum on t/box
