Ryder, well that was the longest days laning I've ever done. Got into Forty foot lane at 11.30 am got out at 11.00 pm. Couldn't leave you behind could we? Big thanks to Jai for giving me a hand and coming up to help.

it was fun cant believe how muddy i got!

No problem didnt know you had been there since 11,30 would have after the first call if i knew, the winch took a pounding! I really hate Paj's recovery points! Ryder you need a decent rear recovery point before you go out laning again. It maybe worth getting or making a couple for the front aswell so you can fit a strop & half the stress when being recovered. All in all was fun yesterday think spyderman laughed lots when i fell in the deep mud!

Oh i decided the coat is beyond cleaning.

Spyderman landy/driving was as always unstopable, xcls are definatly underrated!

The 90 did well on its tyres surprised myself! I think we all deserve a beer for our sterling efforts last night, see you all wednesday if you can make the pub meet ill wash the ropes tonight & bring them wed, Jai

a few blurry pics of the recovery at its mid stage will upload when i get home as im posting using my phone at mo so cant upload them right now jai

I forgot my camera, but Jai falling over in the mud was funny. I'm up for going again this Saturday. Ryder can park up at one end and we'll give it another go, then go back and collect his car. We only did 2 lanes before Ryder got stuck, so there's loads still to be done. I will be on the look out for some more xcl's as mine are getting a bit worn. Having seen Kumho mud terrains in action, I've decided they're useless.

Alright guys im gutted i missed a days laning with you lot dunno if you all remember me from the first outing lol, however am definatly up for a days laning this weekend keep me posted on this.

Hey folks! Well what a bleedin day! That has to be one of the most sticky days ever!

Many, many thanks to Jai for coming to the rescue ! I am sure the piccy's will be up soon, but most of them are on Jai's camera so how about it Jai?

Hey Glenn, you're most welcome to join us of course! We're trying to recall which lanes we did before. Have you been out laning with us previously (My memory isn't what it was you understand).

Will change th nameof this thread as soon as I work out how.

Cheers to all!

hey ryder,
yeah im from hertfordshire few months ago see you and some of the lads up in datchworth woods and took you down towards walkern way on sum of the lanes. Iv got the blue 90 with scorpion racing bumber an all that shizl.

Goonarmy,
The Kumho Muds were on a Defender, I think 265's, they just clogged and were like giant doughnuts, it was sliding about all over the place, couldn't pull itself out of the shallowest ruts. He might just as well of been on slicks. I was driving rings around him in my Series with XCL's, worn ones at that. I'd think twice about buying then if you want them for mud use.

Hi chaps its Neil, Well what a day we had!
I would testify to those XCL's, More grip than my BFG muds on that lane.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Its Grippas Deependa:D:p

Don't see why the 90 with the winch bailed and wouldn't get ryder out, all the kit on that motor and a perfect opportunity to use it as intended. All the gear and no .... (ill let you think of the rest). It really winds me up when people get the bling and never actually use it Rant Rant Rant! I never really get people that bolt on three or four hundred kilo winches and never use them surely they realise they their asthetically pleasing £1000 bolt on bling becomes a hinderance rarther than an aid if never actually used. I understand raised bumpers as they are handy. Ok Rant over! Ill post some bad quality pice as soon as I can log into my pics account. It come down to a decent set of tyres on a standard series III with no bling, and a camel-ish 90 with a cheapo winch! No bling! Jai
