So, my 110 is in use as a wedding car tomorrow.
I don't think it's ever been so clean, l even cleaned the mud flaps

Anyhow, does a bride have to wear a seat belt? l am not sure how it would work with the full wedding dress she's wearing.

As above legally yes but I would bother. As mentioned would be very poor form and all over the daily mail with negative press for the police force if you were pulled for it. I know the pain of getting a land rover clean enough for a white dress! I used the land rovers for my wedding and a friend wedding (owner of the series 1) and no one was wearing seat belts, the groomsmen were in morning suits so had almost as much of a challenge as the bride. For both all of the vehicles had the same number "ju5t wed" number plates front and back as well. Although the originals were in the vehicles we were working on a similar principle that to get pulled over would be incredibly poor form from the officer!

Make sure you give us lots of pictures of you land rover on duty. Here are some from mine:

Well, there was no chance of a seat belt in fact the bride's dad had to sit in the front as there was so much dress and train.

All went well we managed to fit the groom in the back as well for the drive to the reception.

I think that it would be a real **** of a copper to give the bride a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt !

You'd be in a bigger pile of crap if you were involved in a head on collision on the way to the church and their was a serious injury...

As far as I'm aware, it's the person not wearing a seatbelt who gets the ticket not the driver.

Correct but try explaining that to family members when there's been an incident and to your insurance as the driver you have a responsability for the safety of your passengers...dont want to wear a seatbelt in my car then it's shanks pony for anyone who wont..

"Did you not check Sir"..."No I assumed"..."So why is there a large dent in your smashed windscreen on the passenger side and I do see you have your belt on Sir"...
