was bored yesterday and had just sorted my insurance, so i thought if i looked on there and got a quote it might give me an idea of the market value that the insurance would pay out..


i certainly hope not! £105 they quoted!!!

Ha! I just went on there and did exactly the same for mine - i was offered £525.01 (i think the one pence was the metallic paint!!!)

I sold it 2 months ago for £3,700!!!
 
ahh, so market value is just what ever they are selling for? i thought there was like an official price that dealers use..?
 
they make such tempting offers! i think the 148 thou and non metallic paint let mine down.. and im sure if they came to inspect it the fact that it has been slapped on with a brush wont go down well either!
 
They is **** takers, I put my other halts 57 plate x type jag on their site and they came back with a price of 4 grand for a car that's worth 8 to 9 grand, all them happy people in their add makes me laugh, it should be called wearerobbingbastids.com
 
Friend of mine sold a rover 25 to them with HGF for £1500 about 2 years back.

Car was worth around £500.

Depends what you're trying to get at and how lucky you are ;)
