ensure well serviced, timing correct, and less right foot then.
and that the pump aint been tweaked.

haha thanks for advice guys but de-egr'd already, and de cated plus i just got rid of road tyres and put a/ts on just wanted to know engine wise cheers

but if you put a bigger intercooler you will effect the turbos life and you will need to tweak fuel pump

at the back of the IP is an adjustment screw with a hardened steel collar if this has been removed then its been "tweeked"

also on top body of pump is a round cover the size of a 1p if that is disturbed its been "tweeked"

You will pay more at the specialist then it will cost you in extra fuel if its been tweaked!

dont do it, leave it as it is or you will loose alot of power and hate driving it ...i just tweaked my pump on my 300tdi def 90 (it was lazy )and it drives much better now
