Then put it in a low bake oven to dry, then spray the same stuff that they spray into plane jet engines that repels sea spray while on an aircraft carrier, then spray inside and out side all box sections, doors and cavities. Oh and he lends ya a car to use while he's doing the job and give a 5 year gaurante that no rust will show through the waxoyl in that time other wise the job gets redone for nowt. If you do all that for £200 I'll have a bit of that:D and its £460 + vat he charges for a 90 or disco.:)

Just found the px24 water repelant stuff he uses. Ambersil sell it online at about £4.50 for a 400ml areosol can. Hmmmmmm. Might be worth a go cos ive got a compressor and long air line.

They do power wash the underside first. So is it still £200 now ;)

i got a power washer and wouldnt entertain spraying the underside with out first washing off the road salt/mud ect. so yea still £200. ill garentee it will be done to high standards including spray inside and out side all box sections, doors and cavities but cant lend ya a car ! £460 + vat he charges for a 90 or disco. ??? that will save ya £260 + the vat :D so you can afford to do it a few years later if it does show signs of comming off. :high5:

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replies, I think I could stretch to £200.00 for my vehicle to be done, it has not been off road mud plugging and is in A1, I want to keep it that way thats why I want it done, anyway done all the off roading I want to do in the military in a pinky.

When can it be done and how long will it take.

Thanks for the replies

hair dryer ? your joking right ? naaaaaa i got a good deal on ten zippo fag lighters for a quid, i was thinking of using them to warm the chassis up thus drying it out !

as for the pipe to get into the chassis ? if you have a good compressor and the underseal gun (not the shultz gun) you should be able to get very good full coverage all inside the chassis and out riggers ect.

Has anyone tryed that px24 stuff he uses at before and after? It aint that expensive but didn't know if there were a good reason for it only being about £4 for a 400ml spray can.
