When off playing at Pay and play site etc how do you stop the water getting in the head lights.
Filled mine up twice now its got a tide line inside the headlamps.

Hang on - is this the same fred me n Mr Denmark were discussing? Or is it another one bout headlights - sorry not paying full attention..........

I have this problem right now, one of my lights has gone because of it and im gona have to take them out to drain them. Guess ill put the sealed beam units back in even though there ****e.

They are ****e, no doubt about that, maybe sealed beams for headlights and a few good spots on the roof would be the answer

4 on the roof and a pair on the bull bars. Maybe i have nothing to moan about.

Actually, the ones on the bull bars are full of water and are never wired up, and the wiring to the roof ones caught fire a while ago and i never fixed it. They would probaly be brighter if i wasnt running all four off 5 amp wire and a 5 amp switch...:scratching_chin:

Aye, sounds like you have plenty back up! Put in a set of the wipac clear headlamps in about two weeks ago, what an improvement! Made me realise just how **** my lights were.

Yeh sealed beam would sort it but are crap, had them as a nipper in Minis, fitted the H4 for that reason and yes the spots on the bar also fill up with water and those are Landrover ones.
Trouble is will have to change them out for the MOT later as no doubt the tester will say below light out put etc
Maybe roof mount is the way to go.
Doing this tend to fill them up, done it a couple of times!
