Hi, it's me again!
Pulled into my driveway the other day and seen the v8 is once again letting coolant! This time coming from the front, I can only assume it's the water pump but I'm not sure yet if it's the bearing/seal or the gasket at this point. Either way it's got to come off. But, bearing in mind it was dripping in the morning when the system was fully cold, I'm not sure why it didn't leak further when I put the pressure tester on! I was hoping to narrow down the leak
Pump looks fairly new but is there any way to tell if it's one of the cheap nasty ones or a decent one?

Could also be the front cover leaking.

Front cover? There's only the timing cover, or am i being stupid? Won't be the first time!!

There is a coolant passage/gallery that goes through the timing cover.
The water pump is bolted to it.

Might as well replace the water pump too.

If it is indeed the Front cover,.

Right ok. Need to do some serious diagnosis
