Hi,
I’m new to this forum and am looking for suggestions why I’m getting water in my Freelander 1 (5-door 2001) boot area.
I’ve pulled back the roof lining above the tailgate and can see two holes making up the car shell. When feeling inside those holes, I can feel them full of water . When it rains hard, these seem to fill up then overflow out those holes into the boot.
There is no sunroof nor roof bars, but I’ve sealed up the roof bar bolts just in case.
Any idea where the water could be getting in (seems to be above all the rear door seals etc) and whether there should be drain holes somewhere that might be blocked?
Thanks!
