I needed to change my car battery as it was flat. I had a spare so fitted that. Now when I start the car I get a constant ringing sound, like a bell.

So even when you are driving it is a bell chiming?

1. Only when you start it or even if you turn ignition on II ?
2. is the vehicle on air suspension, factory fitted coils or converted?

I have found out what is was. The Downhill descent button had been pressed!

The constant ringing I hear is my tinnitus. Every no and then it changes its frequency and tone which has me checking the batteries in the smoke alarms. It would be no good me owning a disco cos any warning bells would be ignored.
