Hi all, I hope your doing well and looking forward to spring
I have been battling my disco for 7 months now (The person who sold it me was a liar and a fraud, unfortunatly the disco was a complete bodged pita). Anyways I have made alot of head way and the disco is taxed and I and driving it around at last and loving it and all being well I plan on going to wales spring for some off-roading fun.
Now the issue, basicly my brakes are rubbish. They are soft and I have to pump them to get them to stop. I have put a new servo on and new master cylinder (the master cylinder turned out to be off a defender td5 and was sold to me as a 300tdi disco model, not sure if this is the issue or not or if the master cylinders are the same?). Ever since I have had the disco it has had the 3 pipe master cylinder (mine is the abs model) and the the bottom pipe socket as always been blanked off. Is this normal, could this be my issue, is there suppose to be a pipe coming off the bottom socket to somewhere?
