does anyone in the Gloucester area have a V8 starter motor I could have or borrow as I think the starter motor in my RRC project is kaput but not 100% sure.

There are still clever people out there who can test yours / fix yours for less than a recon exchange

You don't have to be clever to test a starter motor

I tried flash starting it but the solenoid does not seem to want to play.

On rooting around in my garage I came across a starter motor from my old 2.25 Diesel engine, does anyone know if it will fit the V8?
