hi, I have always wanted to own a landrover, I'm a geologist so its desperately needed for work. Lots of driller mates of mine have defenders, which are brill for off-roading but I was considering a discovery for a bit more comfort. Can't afford a new one, so would be looking for 4/5 year old but not sure if 2.5 or 3.0 litre would be better. Any ideas which is cheaper to run or does the 2.5 struggle with the weight of the discovery and still guzzle as much??
