HI folks,

Thanks for taking me onboard. I don't currently own a Landy but I'm looking at buying a Freelander as we speak.

At the moment I have my eye on a couple one is the Freelander 2 2.2 Td4 XS Manual 150 BHP with 70,000 mls, the other is a Freelander 2 2.2 SD4 HSE Auto 190 BHP with 76,000 mls

What are the pro's and con's of these models? Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for?

I have never owned a Landy before so any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ive driven a 2.2 hse manual 6speed and it was better than I expected. Comfortable on a long drive for me and passengers, Good for overtaking and cruising not bad on fuel. I didn’t like the stop/start but there’s a button to turn it off - came back on when you restart engine though

F2 is a great car and they are actually very capable off road with decent tyres. Reliable too for a Landy! Just usual DMF issues and diesel emission crap getting clogged. Refined drive.
