Hello, I am waiting for a restoration to be completed on my 69 Santana. I wanted to ask a little about the stock Petrol engine. I am aware the top speed is about 80 KM/hr but how is the torgue?

This would be more dependable, being from Pennsylvania and all

2.25L petrol?

I'm not up to scratch on what Santana's are like and what differences there may be.

I'm aware that the Santana had an option for a 6 cylinder version of the 4cylinder 2.25L petrol

Anyway. If you've got the original 4cyl 2.25 petrol. Here's a spec sheet

Speed wise, no idea with KM/H. We don't really use that over here. Comfortably probably 50-55mph. I hit 62 once but I'm not sure if that's was just the needle bouncing and that was terrifically loud.

Hey I really appreciate that. I'm very new at the cars workings and I haven't even received it yet. Thank you so much!

Very welcome. I am relatively too. Stick around here and you'll learn from the Landy Wizards
Thanks Rat. I appreciate the welcome. I think the Santana is just like the European version but with Parabolic springs. I am upgrading to Power Steering, All around discs and a 5 inch lift.

Made by the Spanish as far as I'm aware.

Nice, sounds far more comfortable and easier to live with!
