well im sorry guys ive just read his first post again, and he is asking for advice on a couple of lanes he has never driven, he is obviously capable of reading a map and finding lanes, but the map doesnt tell him of any dificulty he may or may not come across, or if it is better to start in this direction or from the other, or if it is best to avoid driving a lane because it is in a sensitive area or is in a bad state.
Any one can by an os map and go ploughing up and down lanes, this guy seems to be doing the right thing by asking in advance, seem very responsible to me, something we should all do really, there is nothing worse than driving a couple of miles down a lane to find it is blocked by a fallen tree when you could have asked advice and been told by some one who had been the previous day. I tend to use Trailwise to find any info on lanes but it isnt always up to date certainly week by week. Who better to ask than a group who do it week in week out like us on lz do?
