Narr bored of Golfs now, had 3! I used to have a very old Defender 90 which had to be scrapped and I REALLY miss it!
I know the Disco aint going to be great on fuel due to the vehicles weight I was just interested to find out what other people were managing to get out of it!
My old Defender was the 2.5 NA engine and it was PANTS on fuel but I really did not care as it was awsome green laneing and was a good laugh getting it stuck up to the mirrors in mud!

LOL yeh that would be great BUT the misses wants a little more comfort as I nearly knocked her out a few times off road on the internal body work. So I had to compromise
Still thought the Disco is a great car for off road!

Get a defender, I get 36 MPG average (town and Motorway) with A/C on.
Its an 90 TD5 with EGR off

what kind of advice is that? Mpg will be better in a disco because its geared longer
good advice so listen.
Well I have bought it now so it tough what MPG it does, I am looking forward to many many miles of laneing!
