Morning, has anybody been down violets lane in the last couple of weeks?? A few of us are planning a trip there on Sunday and wondered how deep it was. We all have snorkels but only one has a wading kit. 😳😁

Unless they're very little puddles and you cant get across em in your wellies.....Don't do it then 
Without axle breathers any length of time under water and your hubs will suck water in especially if you've had a good run to the lane and the wheel bearings/hub is nice and warm

Some folk dont even attach snorkels proper
Take it as its an Essex landrover its all for show

You will want breathers attached if your going to go through it although on the day those pics were taken 2 vehicles made it through without snorkels, both mitsi's, and the suffered no issues, balls of steel though, I wouldn't have done it without a snorkel!

cos breather kits are well within a very top end of £35 - £40 and a mere snorkel is £100 at the very bottom end of the market... minimum I've seen new disco snorkels is £120...
makes perfect sense doc, dunno what ya gettin confooosed about! :lol:

Got my idea from watching some V8 trikes on there
Need to take out the gearbox properly though as gf wants it for her series......means I can't just grind the mounts off and drop it onto a mattress
