Hi
I really need some help. I have a 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 2.2. After driving for about 15 minutes, the car experiences vibrations in the front while accelerating. When starting cold, it drives normally, but the vibrations begin after covering a few kilometers, feeling as if one of the front rims is misshapen. The car feel like its shaking.

We have checked wheel alignment, balancing, and rotation, and all appears to be fine. I have read that the issue might be related to the driveshaft, but I'd like to confirm this. I am located far away, and any necessary parts would need to be imported from the UK, taking approximately two weeks for transit.

Any advice please.

It sounds like it's the engine misfiring.
An engine misfire due to a failing injury on these vehicles can feel like an out of balance wheel.

For those who is having this issue, took 2 months to get a front pair of drive shaft from the UK and replaced them last week, the problem was fixed! The mechanic was quite surprised as they said, there was no movement/no play with the cv joints etc so they ruled out driveshaft but based on what I read in the forum, decided to gamble by importing and replacing it myself and it did work!
