I have a bit of a question to pose all you experienced Freelander folks.

We have had Freelanders for a few years now, and decided to buy this latest from a local garage before we moved to Wales. Since day one there has been issues and we had to get it back to them to sort them out. Now we have moved and the garage is 5 hours away. it is still under warranty and I am pretty peed off with the garage to be honest.

Anyways...the latest issue is a vibrating when we accelerate above 40 mph...seems to be the front drive. The Incline light comes on irregularly too which we had 'sorted' by garage last time...not:mad:

We are now waiting on our log book arriving to get rid of this car as I have no faith in it being any where near as good as my last one, which was excellent for an old girl.
Garage are really crap despite being establised 13 years in same location...DVLA has no record of log book being sent in for new keeper change either so we now have that to deal with too.

Thanks for letting me vent, hope you can help. We are taking it in soon to get it looked at (sending bill to garage!!!)

Does it knock when you drive slowly in an arc ? Left or right ?

I'm suggesting knackered drive shaft cv joints .

:welcome2: to the looney zone .
