Hello!!!!

My 3.5 has decided to not idle properly.

It seems to be OK when its hot, but when its cold it idles at under 500rpm, and turning the steering puts enough load on to stall it.

Its running the flapper injection system, which I know isn't great, but where do I start??

Cold start sensor, assuming it has one??

Any ideas??

Thanks!!!

Faulty ecu maybe, if there's also a lot of black smoke and difficult starting as that's is what happend when I had on my 3.5.
You could check your base idle. There is a cold start sensor but that is for when it is cold -20c or something like that so never normally used in the UK.
