Can anybody tell me whether I can change valve guides in V8 heads without hundreds of specialist tools? I've done it successfully with other aluminium heads using an oven, freezer & a lump hammer, but I'm more cautious these days. I guess even if I get them in, I still need the correct reamer. The engine is in a series 2 - hence posingg here.
