Hi all,

I've just found out after having only just got my landy that My 3.5 V8 came out of a rover sdi dating back to the 70's, with only 20,000 on the clock, The good news is 2 garages have told me the engine runs real sweet after giving it a full service and a general check over, but they did say the water pump is leaking slightly, the starter motor is on it's way out, and the bottom rad hose is slightly chaffed. I do have one place where I'm hoping to get replacements, but incase they don't have any of these, items, can anyone advise me of a place where I can readily get the engine parts being a classic engine?. I assume I'm not the only one with this conversion? If it's any help the engine number is 11A56273.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

for quality parts, service and knowledge I would use dingo croft-just google it and then ring them there website isnt much good.

for cheapest I would use paddocks but make sure you know what your getting there knowledge is poor and the cheaper parts are too!

Ok, thanks for that. :)

If its an sdi engine try unipart in Dover, you never know. Rimmer bros also keep loads of Rover items. Find them on the webb.
