Hi guys im new on here and im asking. For a little help i have a 90 4.0 efi and im having some starting problems it turns over slow but not enough. To fire when i unplug the coil it turns a little faster i cannot. Find what is wrong. I have 2 25mm new negative cables to chassis. A 35mm new positive to starter and a new braided negative. To chassis. From engine im now and a newish battery. I really dont no what it could be :/ please. Help

sounds like your starter is shot mate , can you bump start it? , I had this problem on the 90 although its a TDI , slow turning no matter what battery and earths are on it , changed the starter and instant starting again :)

Also it might be worth having your battery checked and if it is duff, getting it replaced.

And don't get Drivel to have a look at it :D
 
Take it to a local Halfords and they will do a free bttery condition check for you.

Then get the biggest CCA that will (a) fit and (b) you can afford. :)

Most nowadays come with between a 3 & 5 year warranty.

Personally, I prefer Bosch but others have their own preferences.
