Hi,
just got back from 1st real test for my new(to me) disco. 3.9. up to Grimsby to a mates n back to Midlands today. performed brilliantly, never missed a beat:). just love the purr from the engine.
worked out the mpg accurately. getting 4 miles to the litre of gas. reckon this down to 3 when just running around locally. what are others getting?

Which is just over 18 to the gallon which is very good, manual or auto? best I achieved on the old engine was around 17 that was motorway driving at around 60mph.

was board 14.7mpg

Which from what others have said and from my own experience is fairly typical mpg for mixed driving on a 3.9/4.0. The 4.6 did do about 16mpg till it starting playing up.

auto, mostly motorway n A roads, but always accelerated gently. n rarely above 60mph,yea so im happy with that:)

hello chaps,

I have been through all the mpg debates with my range rover.

It runs a single point mixer system.

I changed the single fixed mixer ring(which was actually an expensive one)
to a BLOS lpg variable mixer.
Works similar to a su carb (float moves up exposes a needle with slit, lets gas out)

The range rover now gets 18+ mpg driven HARD
it never backfires so the flap went in the bin
its much more driveable and has a chunk more power
runs perfect from stone cold on lpg
i didnt even set up the Blos just bolted it on

it drives as good as any sequential injection, honestly

best money i have spent recently

I just got it off ebay, chap from poland

after later research i think he is on some lr forums not sure which
