Hi

How do I fit a new kickdown cable to a Discovery 1 V8 Auto box? The cable exits the box from the top by the feel of it!

anyone tackled this...?

Easier to take the box out than do it in situ

remove sump and valve block (t27 torx bit )dont remove all bolts just the ones with slightly larger head ,when you refit cable ensure you wind cam back against spring so cable fully retracts when pulled at the other end, this vid may help
